Add a valuable tool to your day trading techniques

What you need:

  • 60-minute chart of your stock or futures
  • 8-period moving average high
  • 8-period moving average low
  • 5-period moving average close
  • 3-period moving average close
  • 5-minute chart of the same stock or futures
   

The Strategy

 

  The Global Futures Bearish Trend Indicator The Global Futures Bearish Trend Indicator

 

It is an absolute must, that this indicator is in force when you go short!

  • 3-MA trades below 5-MA
  • Both trade below 8-MA high
  • Price trades below 3-period MA
  • Daily trend should go down

Upper green line:
Lower green line:
8-period MA high
8-period MA low
  Red line:
Blue line:
5-period MA close
3-period MA close
 
     
  The Global Futures Bearish Opening Gap Formation The Global Futures Bearish Opening Gap Formation
  1. Price closes below 3-period MA the previous day
  2. Market opens the next day usually with a gap
  3. Go short at the opening or at the first break of the 5-minute chart if you trade futures
  4. Place a limit order together with your stop 3 points below your entry point if you trade futures or 1 percent of your stocks value
  5. Try to be out at 10 AM if economic data are expected
